New Applications for Registration / Membership of Clans of Ireland

If you are an Irish Clan or historic family and wish to register as a member of Clans of Ireland for the first time, you will be required to complete a registration form.

When Clans of Ireland has received your completed application form you will be emailed an acknowledgment and a payment request for a non-refundable administrative fee of €50.

When payment of the administrative fee has been received your application will be forwarded to the registration committee. The committee will review your application and may respond with further questions to clarify information provided.

If your application for first registration is approved, an acknowledgment will be emailed to you with a further payment request for €200. This payment includes a one-time only registration fee of €125 and the annual membership subscription payment of €75.

The membership year runs from January to December. The annual membership subscription is due at the time when the registration process is complete  within the membership year. When the registration process is complete your clan will be issued a certificate of registration.

If your application for registration is unsuccessful, you will be notified by email and your clan’s application for registration will not proceed further beyond the registration committee stage.

Annual renewal subscriptions of €75 are due in January each year, a reminder will be sent via email before the subscription is due.
